We offer globally standardized Swagelok training courses like Essentials Training and Swagelok Global Subject Matter Expert Training found at over 225 Swagelok sales and service centers around the world, as well as locally created training sessions to support unique market needs. Swagelok certified trainers host essentials classes to align theoretical, practical, and facilitation standards. All training class attendance is tracked either at the local level or Swagelok Company based on specific class requirements.

Overview
Our most popular local option includes content and hands-on exercises from tube fitting installation, inspection, and bending courses. Upon course completion, students will know how to correctly assemble and gauge a Swagelok® tube fitting as well as bend the tube properly. They will gain an understanding of the differences in tube fitting designs, components, and their importance to proper assembly and bending techniques. Bending the tube helps to eliminate mechanical connections, which can be a source for leaks in traditional fluid systems.
Session Outline:
Identify parts of a tube fitting
Discuss and demonstrate proper installation and reassembly procedures
Understand the differences in tube fitting designs, components, and the importance of proper assembly
Identify thread types and installation practices
Discuss tubing variables and how to properly inspect and select tubing
Learn cutting methods and proper techniques for de-burring tubing•
Identify the parts and procedures of tube benders
Understand bending terminology, measurement, marking and minimum bending lengths
Identify the parts and procedures of tube benders
Understand bending defects and learn in real time during hands-on exercises

Point to Point Bending
Overview
This course is designed to teach students techniques for effective point-to-point tube bending. It differs from the standard bending class because students are not provided with templates for bends to make. Instead, students are taught how to measure spaces between connection points on a large bend board and route tubing around obstacles using their own measurements. This is beneficial for maintenance staff who often install tubing on-the-fly inside their facility.

Overview
At this two-day training event, attendees will review foundational competencies and apply advanced skills in theoretical and practical learning to gain confidence in Swagelok product selection and installation techniques. The agenda allows for registration of individual training courses to give you (and your team) flexibility to register for the sessions most suitable to your business challenges. Register for as little as one session (sessions priced individually) or enroll in multiple sessions based on your needs and availability. These courses have been designed to enhance techniques for those installing and maintaining systems, as well as help those focused on specification and design to gain a deeper understanding of the components' optimal use. We often see maintenance professionals and engineers with varying tenures from a variety of industries at these events. To ensure you receive a personalized experience with hands-on assistance in every session, we keep our trainer-to-student ratio low (less than 15:1). Our training service engineers can help answer questions regarding course suitability or additional content needs.

Session 2: 1pm - 5pm
Swagelok® In-Field Tube Bending , $299
Students will learn how to route tubing around obstacles while they are in the field from point to point. This session focuses on accurate and proficient tube bending techniques to support design specification and installation understanding. Tube fabrication techniques help improve system performance, while a good routing and execution aid in general maintenance and longevity.

Swagelok® Regulators $199
Explore regulator basics with an introduction to types of regulators, and pressure reducing regulators. Understand performance criteria for regulator selection as well as environmental and system effects on performance.
Session 2: 10am - 12pm
Swagelok® Hose Essentials, $199
Understanding the fundamentals helps to extend hose maintenance cycles, promote safety, and lower total cost of ownership. Instructors introduce common terminology, explain variables impacting hose selection, and show how to select hose for different applications, common practices for hose inspections and best practices for preventive maintenance.
Session 3: 1pm - 3pm
Swagelok® Gauges & Pressure Management, $199
Review the most common types of gauges and how they work, gauge failure modes, common solutions, accessories to support proper function and how to specify a pressure gauge.
Session 4: 3pm - 5pm
M200 Classroom & Demo, $299
Demonstration and hands-on instruction allow participants to learn orbital welding principles as well as how to set up, run and troubleshoot the Swagelok orbital welding system.
Attend all sessions for $1200. Participate in the full two-day event and receive a discount off the combined session pricing reflected in the $1200 total training rate.
