Session Topics:

Point-to-point tube bending sounds hard to achieve without the proper training and techniques. Attendees will learn different methods of tube bending for both simple and complex offset bends to help reduce waste and increase efficiency.

During this session,  attendees are challenged with a variety of exercises designed to improve their abilities with both basic and advanced bending techniques, equipping them with the knowledge to undertake complex tube installations with confidence in the field.

  • The measure-bend method of tube bending
  • Bending defects
  • The Swagelok method of tube bending
  • How to make both simple and custom offset bends
  • Tube bending variables
  • Understanding constraints of tube bending, such as minimum distances between benders
  • Making segmented bends and rolling offsets
  • Use of a variety of hand tube bender sizes
  • How to use a bench-top tube bender

Private classes range from half-day, full-day, or multi-day offerings based on your applications and level of bending training needed. Most classes are located at our Regional Training Center in Charlotte, NC, to support full use of the course offerings
